About Us
We are Bob and Jette McDonald, we live on a small farm in the thriving metropolis of Pocahontas, Tennessee, population not very many. We have had the pleasure of breeding puppies for about 5 years since we retired from 'normal work'. Jette was a tax expert with a well known tax company and I was a Supply Chain Director. We are now professional 'poop picker uppers' and all of the other things that need to be done on a daily basis. We are always so busy with our puppies that we consider a trip to Wal-Mart a vacation.
We take great pride in our puppies and the fact that we have placed many puppies with many wonderful families that love them and make them members of their families.
Our puppies are always free to run and play in our home and we play with every one of them every day. We feed them a very high quality food (along with a few puppy treats when they are good or bad) and always take them to our Vet, whom by the way is one of the best we have every seen, for shots and complete health checks. We are always very happy to give anyone who requests it our Vets name and phone number so that they can contact them for any reason.
If you have any questions that you would like to ask about either us or our puppies please feel free to do so. We promise to always tell you the truth, good or bad, and will be will to help you in any way we can, even if you are talking with another breeder, as our main goal is for you to get a happy, healthy family member whether you get it from us or someone else.
We very much hope that you have enjoyed your visit to our web site and hope that it has been informative and helpful to you.
Proud contributers to both the ASPCA and The Humane Society of the United States.
A Dogs 10 Requests
1. My life is likely to last 10-15 years. Any lengthy separation from you is likely to be painful for me.
2. Give me time to understand what you want of me and I will give it ten-fold
3. Place your trust in me. It is crucial for my well-being.
4. Don't be angry with me for long and don't lock me away as punishment. You have your work, friends & entertainment. I have only you.
5. Talk to me. Even if I don't understand your words, I do understand your voice when you are speaking to me.
6. Be aware that how you treat me, good or bad, I will never forget. The treatment you give me will shape my view of yourself all other humans.
7. Before you hit or strike me, remember that I could hurt you, and yet, I choose not to bite you.
8. Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I'm not getting the right food, I have been in the sun too long, or my heart might be getting old or weak.
9. Please take care of me when I grow old. You too, will grow old.
10. On the ultimate, most difficult journey, go with me please. Don't say you can't bear to watch and make me face this alone. Everything is easier for me if you are there, because I love you so.
